Dalaman

There are resorts for all sorts in Dalaman! You’ve got Olu Deniz with its pine-studded mountainside and beautiful beaches, then, taking centre stage is lively Marmaris with its neon-lit nightlife. Plus, this whole region’s chock-full of sights too, with a smattering of ancient attractions like the Roman Theatre and Amyntas Rock Tombs. So, you’ll never be short of things to do.

If you want to spend your summer catching the rays and taking some well-deserved me time, Dalaman’s got a plethora sun-blessed spots. Delve deeper into the R&R with a traditional Turkish hammam and head home feeling rejuvenated.

Must do: Take a dip in the Blue Lagoon

Make the most of Dalaman’s azure waters with a trip to Olu Deniz’s Blue Lagoon. Nestled in a lush-green national park, it has lazy days covered. Take a dip, relax on the sand or hire a paddle boat.

Verona

This cultural city is set to be a real winner in 2025! It might be famed as the setting of Shakespeare's tale of star-crossed lovers, but this untapped treasure is much more than Romeo and Juliet. There are beautiful basilicas, pretty piazzas and streets lined with baroque architecture. What’s more, the glistening waters of Lake Garda are well within easy reach from here, providing a perfect day trip for your stay.

It wouldn’t be an Italian adventure without delving into the city’s hearty cuisine. Spend mealtimes hopping from restaurant to restaurant and get stuck into bowls of twirly pasta and plates of gooey pizzas.

Must-do: Catch the sunset at Castel de Pietro

This hilltop haven offers unmissable views over the whole city. It’s a medieval fortress with remarkable architecture so it’s well worth a visit. Head up for the sunset, you won’t find a better spot to see the summer sun dip behind the spires and scenery of fair Verona.

Santorini

Prepare to fall head over heels for this gorgeous Greek gem in 2025 with its postcard-perfect towns and gleaming sunsets. In Oia, whitewashed houses with blue-tinged domes cascade down the caldera, which makes for the dreamiest of holidays snaps. Try and head there in the early morning to catch the sunrise, you’ll also avoid the evening crowds.

And what’s a Greek getaway without tucking into some feta-covered feasts while you’re there? Santorini’s awash with plenty of swanky restaurants that serve up some top-notch nosh, but that’s not to say you won’t find a juicy streetside gyros to rival it. Greek getaways don’t get better than this!

Must-do: Head to Akrotiri Lighthouse to see the sunset

Sitting pretty on the south-western tip of the island is this charming lighthouse. Towering over the sparkling Aegean, it’s the perfect spot to catch one of the iconic Santorini sunsets.

Larnaca

Step into the undiscovered waters of the Mediterranean in Larnaca, Cyprus. With a cinematic coast that doesn’t budge to the likes of Malta and blissful beaches galore, Larnaca is an awe-capturing alternative to the places you might’ve visited already.

Looking to liven things up in 2025? Ayia Napa should be your first port of call. This town might be modest in size but it’s big on parties – in fact, it’s one of the top upcoming party spots of the Med! And if your New Year’s resolution is to take things slower, we’ll save you a peaceful sunbed on silky sweeps of Nissi Bay.

Majorca

Majorca has been a firm favourite for a while now and 2025 isn’t going to change our admiration for this perfect-for-all island. Whether you fancy a classic beach holiday, an excitement-filled break or a luxurious getaway, Majorca delivers. Follow us this way…

Beach-lovers are in for a treat here – if there’s one thing this Balearic isle is known for, it’s the stunning coast. Home to over 200 beaches, Majorca isn’t shy of unreal shores that seamlessly fuse azure waters with the rocky cliffs and sandy patches.

Must do: Take a day trip to Palma

Start your day by climbing to the terrace of La Seu Cathedral – the most visited attraction in Majorca! Then head to San Juan Food Market, which specialises in local and international nibbles. And when you’ve tasted it all, how about sharing a carafe of sangria in the Old Town?

Ibiza

The White Isle is always a winner and its long reign as the party capital of the Balearics isn’t about to end in 2025. It’s all about dancing the night away then relaxing at a go-slow sipping spot by day and with a heady mix of music and events throughout the summer, the party never stops.

There’s much more to this Balearic beauty than a night on the tiles. Start with the Old Town. It’s the heart and soul of the island and a complete contrast to the 24/7 party resorts. Think leafy squares, cobbled streets and quirky markets that spill out onto the streets. Not to mention its UNESCO-stamped old quarter which is backed by a castle and a cathedral. And the beaches? Well, Ibiza certainly isn’t short of striking patches of sand.

Must do: The hippy market

Discover the bohemian heritage of the island at one of the hippy markets. Browse the stalls and pick up homemade crafty bits, listen to live performances or grab a bite to eat. It’s a colourful affair with a great ambience!

Split and Dalmatian Coast

Spectacular settings come as standard in Split. Perfectly placed on the seafront, it makes the most of its stunning scene and warm weather. Coastal towns like Sibenik and Tucepi are ideal for waterfront dining and sampling local delicacies, while islands Hvar and Brac have days on the sand covered.

The iconic Old Town is full of treasures with historic havens, charming streets and marvellous museums. But simply getting lost among the cobbles is the perfect way to spend your days. What are you waiting for? Soar off to Split and make 2025 a summer to remember!

The Costa del Sol

This classic costa boasts stunning seas, blue skies and relaxing resorts. And good, old-fashioned favourites Torremolinos and Benalmadena are still strong contenders for the textbook sun and sea getaway this summer, with their glorious golden seafronts and all-age attractions.

The beaches come in every shape and size possible, from tucked-away coves to shores backed by palm-lined promenades. It ticks all the boxes for the nature lovers too, with stalagmite caves, botanical gardens and verdant mountains all at your fingertips. And the foodies? With a plethora of authentic Spanish eateries, you won’t know where to start.

Away from the busy seafront, you’ll find these quieter backstreets in Benaldemena. It’s all about chalk-coloured houses, laid-back eateries and dinky trinket-filled shops. Why not try some of the local chorizo? Then wash it down with a glass of the local vino.

Gran Canaria

Enjoying the balmy weather here all year–round. This volcanic isle is a favourite for all seasons, but in summer, it really sparkles! Whether you hit up the north or the south of the island, you won’t be short of sandy swathes and sunny days. Expect glorious greenery, a bounty of beaches and a dramatic landscape.

With plenty of fun-loving beach resorts like Puerto Rico and Playa Del Ingles, you’ll never be far from the action with beaches, restaurants and entertainment galore. Visit the dinky fishing villages and you’ll experience the opposite. Think freshly caught fish, restaurants with a rustic feel and quaint buildings around every corner.

Must-do: Walk across the Maspalomas Dunes

These dunes look as though they’ve been plucked straight out of the Sahara. Feel the sand between your toes on a daytime dander or follow the trails down to the beach or the freshwater lagoon.

Montenegro

Balkan countries are massively making their way to destination lists and Montenegro should be at the top of yours for 2025. Mother Nature really blessed this corner of Europe with lush forests, glittering lakes and the charming Adriatic coast. If you’re more into exploring ancient civilisations than topping up a tan, you won’t be bored here either – Ostrog Monastery, Kotor Cathedral and Njegos Mausoleum are just a few cool spots to wander around. And when you’re ready to breathe in that fresh sea air, head to one of many pebbly patches along the coast, snuggled by dense pine forests and rolling hills.

If you really want to see it all, this Balkan beauty sits right next to Croatia, so you can tick them both off your bucket list!

Must do: Take a boat ride in Kotor Bay

This stunner hugs the shore of Kotor Old Town, so scenic views will follow you around here. But the best holiday snaps can be taken from a boat, overlooking the town backed by mighty mountains!

Antalya

Can’t get enough of Turkish treasures? Antalya’s bound to get you smiling from ear to ear! Bountiful beaches are within easy reach around here but if it’s fascinating culture and history you’re after, Antalya’s got that covered too!

Let the winding streets lead you through the arches of Hadrian’s Gate while you travel back in time in the Old Town, Kaleiçi. When you get peckish, head to Antalya Bazaar and grab on-the-go bites while exploring at the same time. Fancy a bit of nighttime fun? Stylish bars are not hard to spot here either!
