The Costa Verde, AKA ‘Green Coast’, is new to Jet2Villas for 2025! In just a short flight to, you can be landing in Porto and unlocking a captivating coastline that promises tranquillity and authentic local charm by the bucketload.
Having car hire included in your booking as standard means you can go under your own steam and explore the region as much as you fancy too. Why not criss-cross through the countryside and hit the city of Porto? It’s only an hour away from the six gorgeous resorts we have available. Convenient or what?
Boardwalks, sand dunes, pine forests, seafood restaurants... The list of what to expect goes on! Plus, wine fans will want to flock to the Douro Valley for tastings in revered vineyards. So, come on, it’s time to figure out where to stay...
Barcelos
An archaeological museum, a church and the Faria Hill Fort and Castle are among the main marvels for history hunters, but if you’re heading away with keen shoppers, get set for a retail therapy fix. It’s all about the markets in Barcelos, where hand-painted knick-knacks will catch your eye. But if there are any souvenirs worth purchasing, it’s the ceramic roosters! This legendary local icon tends to be splattered across artisanal trinkets.

Caminha
Long sweeps of white sand complement the vast stretches of greenery in Caminha. It’s pretty low-key and there are lots of beachy spots to flop down on too. Talk about traditional Portugal. Eager to get active? Water sports like kayaking get our vote, but you could stay on dry land, don your walking boots and hit a hiking trail instead. Both guarantee you great views and weary legs in need of a swim in your villa’s pool.

Esposende
There’s a distinctly coastal flavour to Esposende, where a natural park and scattering of beaches are yours to relish if you’re into your R&R. Talk about postcard scenery, hey? It’s right there to savour when you aren’t kicking back at your own villa, of course. That’s also where you’ll spy surfers carving up the waves. After a piece of the action? You could book a class there and test out your skills!

Viana do Castelo
Intricate architecture will unfold as you potter around the cobbled streets of Viana do Castelo. It’s old-school here and it’s obvious, so if you like quaint, your wish is the resort’s command! The harbour’s your best bet for just-hooked seafood specialities, while budding snappers can point their cameras towards Santa Luzia Basilica. On the lookout for soft sands? Make for secluded Praia do Rodanho, or combine sunbathing with surfing spells on Praia do Cabedelo.

Ponte de Lima
Historical hotspot alert! Ponte de Lima’s another with culture-rich muscles to flex, and it looks straight out of a film as a result. Peel back the pages of time as you strut across its 14th-century centrepiece bridge, and you’ll be greeted by peaceful green fields. And don’t forget the diddy churches sprinkled around the town! You’ll be grateful for the villa space to sprawl out after a sightseeing spree each day.

Paredes de Coura
Welcome to the home of Peneda Geres National Park, a mecca for hikers, bikers, kayakers – and even people-watchers! It’s the ultimate haven for switching off and reconnecting with nature, put it that way. And once you’ve finished there, the itinerary will still have room for a beach-hopping jaunt or two – so pack those swimmers. Vodafone Paredes de Coura music festival takes centre stage annually in August too. That means the dancing shoes need to make the suitcase as well.
