Majorca, Balearics

This classic beach holiday destination is a real winner for all ages. Resorts like Palma Nova, Puerto Pollensa and Alcudia tick all the boxes when it comes to serene shorefronts and quaint culture, while nearby Magalluf pulls out all the stops with its renowned nightlife. There are bags of shopping and sightseeing opportunities to be had in the island’s capital, Palma, and lots of stunning scenery dotted throughout the lush, green countryside.

Flights from the UK take, on average, less than three hours, so you can be sunning yourself in no time! What better way to embrace that airport outfit and really get the most out of it? Pull a look together that you could wear separately on holiday – we’re talking playsuits and jumpsuits to layer up with a blazer or cardigan for the journey to the airport.

Santorini, Greece

Sensational Santorini needs no introduction, with its iconic, whitewashed sugar cube buildings and bright-blue domes. Oia and Fira, two hilltop havens, are the island’s most popular resorts. Get lost in the maze of winding streets and dine at a sea-view restaurant, before admiring the stunning sunset that Santorini’s famed for. Don’t forget to snap some photos – they’ll have all your followers green with envy!

If you’d prefer to explore the Greek mainland and check out the capital instead, Athens, is the perfect choice! From the Ancient Acropolis to Plaka, the Old Town, there are all sorts of things to see and do. And that’s without mentioning the amazing food on offer!

Whether its mainland exploring or an island escape that you’re after, it doesn’t get much more iconic than Greece, so why not dress up for the plane runway and start as you mean to go on? Floaty and lightweight materials are our faves this season and you can keep cool by opting for neutral tones like beige or stone. Fancy a pop of colour? Pretty pastels are the perfect choice for subtly brightening up an outfit.

Antalya Area, Turkey

This tranquil part of Turkey is all about glowing golden beaches, gorgeous cuisine, lively towns and a sprinkling of age-old traditions and Turkish history thrown in for good measure. The coastline alone spans a whopping 650km, so you can just imagine the hidden-away coves and bright-white shores dotted along it.

The swanky resorts of Lara Beach and Belek take five-star experiences to the next level. If you’re looking to treat yourself, these are the places to do it.

You can’t visit the Turquoise Coast without taking a dip in the glistening waters and, for that, you’re going to need a knockout swimsuit or bikini! Layer it up with a colourful button-up shirt and some linen trousers and you can hop from lounger to lunch terrace with ease.

Budapest, Hungary

Prefer a city to a beach? Head over to Hungary’s capital, Budapest, this summer to soak up a culture like no other. The city itself is a tale of two halves, with the River Danube flowing straight through it. Buda, on the west side, comes accompanied with UNESCO status, so you can expect to see everything from intricate baroque buildings to famous sights like Buda Castle and Fisherman’s Bastion.

Over in edgy Pest, you’ve got all the traditional bathhouses alongside the world-renowned nightlife hotspots. Quirky ruin pubs and rooftop cocktail bars, anyone?

You’ll be ready for anything in Budapest if you throw a stylish oversized t-shirt over some comfy leggings. You’ll be able to get those steps in as you sightsee your way around the city, then if the sun decides to make an appearance, you can go leggings-free and get those pins in the rays!

Rome, Italy

Another capital to add to your wish list is Italy’s – Rome! Tick off all the tourist must-sees like the Colosseum, Pantheon and Roman Forum, before getting a selfie in front of the Trevi Fountain and visiting Vatican City. Enjoy a well-deserved rest in the clouds at one of the many rooftop bars, and then take in the views across the famous skyline as you sip a Negroni – the local’s favourite tipple.
