Carnival of Venice 2025

If you’re looking to celebrate in style on your 2025 trip, why not catch a flight to Venice for the carnival? It began in 1162 when the people of Venice gathered to celebrate their victory of the Venice Republic’s win. It’s a tradition that takes place each year just before the six-week period of Lent. The Carnival boasts vibrant and atmospheric street parades as well as masked balls and a chance to get your best and most exotic costumes on to join the celebration.
It takes place for three weeks across Venice with up to three million attendees! Whether you’re celebrating in the street parades, changing into your best attire for the masked balls or simply enjoying the water party night shows, there’s something for all the family.
P.S. we would highly recommend visiting Saint Mark’s Square (San Marco) as this is where you will find the biggest parades with the most flamboyant costumes!

Spanish Grand Prix 2025

Croatia definitely doesn’t stop there, after the festival, you can take to the endless, exotic beaches of Croatia for some much-needed relaxation.

Palio di Siena 2025

We never need an excuse to visit such a historical and cultural destination such as Italy, however there are various fascinating cultural events taking place in 2025 that will draw you in even more. One of these events is the Palio di Siena which takes place in Siena on 2 July and 16 August each year. The Palio di Siena boasts centuries-old origins and sees each ‘contrade’ (areas in which the city is divided) race on horseback around the Piazza del Campo. This event is known for its passion as all ten participants race to see which contrade will win. The horses are dressed in bright colours and each have their own emblem. These reflect the area of the city that the horse and rider are representing.

Sziget 2025
Budapest, Hungary
6-11 August 2025
The Sziget festival is one of the biggest multicultural events in Europe, attracting nearly 400,000 festival-goers from around the world. It started in 1993 and takes place on Obuda Island in Budapest. The festival will be held from the 6-11 August, so be sure to get your sun cream packed as well as your dancing shoes as temperatures are set to soar to 28°C. Sziget is known for gathering a roster of various artists from different musical genres including, alternative, indie-rock and pop.

Signal Light Festival 2025
Prague
16-19 October 2025
The Signal Light Festival is a four-day event showcasing light, art and emerging technologies in Prague, the Czech capital. Lighting shows are installed all through the streets and among historical landmarks and public spaces across the city and are most fascinating on a night when the bright colours can be seen all around Prague. The festival has now been a tradition for five years and is already the biggest cultural event in the city. It's a great opportunity to not only admire the capturing and innovative light displays but is also a great time to walk round and explore the beautiful city of Prague.
