1. Askeli Beach
Beach days are top of the agenda here, and this is a top pick. Once you’ve spotted the crystal-clear waters and golden grains, you’ll soon see why! The sand is backed by eucalyptus trees – perfect if you’re seeking some shade. If you want to go for a dip, bring your beach shoes, as it’s quite pebbly.
2. The Folklore Museum
Want to delve deeper into the island’s culture? Make a beeline for the Folklore Museum in Poros Town. It shines a spotlight on what life was like for the locals back in the day. Take the time to browse the exhibits, which include traditional outfits and tools.

3. Agios Georgios Church
Pop on your history hat and take a stroll around this local church, which was the first one on the island. On the outside, it follows the classic Greek Orthodox style, while the inside shows off some neoclassical inspiration. Don’t miss the wooden throne, intricate wall paintings and murals.
