Close to Venice, colourful Murano entices visitors with its glorious glassware. It’s been the centre of glassmaking for centuries and is still home to over 100 factories. From beads to vases, mirrors to chandeliers, there’s no end to the gifts you could pick up while you’re here. You could even pop into the Murano Glass Museum and delve deeper into the island’s rich history.
