Of all the dates on your calendar, few beat Pancake Day. Whether you’re a fan of sweet or savoury, feasting your way through this time-honoured celebration is well worth it.

Pancake Day – or Shrove Tuesday, as it’s also often known – is the day before Ash Wednesday and marks 24 hours of mass eating before Lent begins. How will you be spending it?
