The need-to-knows...

Pool heating is designed to take the chill off the water, rather than to make it hot. Generally, the water is 25-28°C.

Depending on the time of year, there may be an additional charge for pool heating. So, whether you’ve got the kids in tow, or you’re getting away with a group of mates, there’ll be no tentatively dipping your toes in the pool on your next villa holiday. Grab your swimming cossie and towel and get ready to dive in all year round in a villa with a heated pool!

Top tip: If you have a heated pool and it comes with a cover, it's a good idea to use this overnight to keep the water temperature nice and toasty.

Villa Helena, Playa Blanca, Lanzarote

This funky, Fuerteventura villa ticks all the boxes when it comes to amazing spaces, both indoors and out, quirky features and splashes of colour! Villa Oneida is close the airport and the many bars and restaurants in nearby Caleta de Fuste. Anyone for a game of table tennis? Or why not take a dip in the pool? Towels are handily included here too!

Pool heating info: The swimming pool here is heated by a solar pump and this is included in the price of the villa. However, electric pool heating is also available and can be added as an extra. Please note, during periods of overcast weather, the pool might not be heated as much as you’d like if you don’t opt for the electric pool heating.

Villa Marine Paphos, Paphos, Cyprus

Just 80m from the beach, you’ll find the whitewashed Villa Marine Paphos that was made just for couples! And if you want to holiday with a group of others, there are three sister villas available here too. Soak up the rays from your suntrap terrace, before whipping up an al fresco barbecue!
