Figueral Beach

Beach-lovers rejoice! Blessed with a generous sprinkling of soft sandy beaches, you won’t have to travel far in Ibiza to feast your eyes on one of the island’s golden delights.

Whether you’re looking for adventure-packed days or serene sandy strolls, there’s a spot for every type of beach goer.

Here are three of our favourites:

San Antonio Bay

Striking turquoise water meets a bright-white sandy shore in this part of Ibiza. You’ll find it over on the west coast, close to the popular resort of San Antonio Town. There’s usually a variety of activities on offer or you could choose to simply kick back with a good book and enjoy the sunshine.

Santa Eulalia

In Santa Eulalia, you can enjoy a much more laid-back vibe. The sand is golden and the water’s warm, making it just perfect for a paddle. If you fancy a break from dozing, why not stroll along the pretty promenade and stop for a drink in one of the sea-view café bars?

Es Cana

This huge stretch of sand on the island’s north-east coast is ideal for families. Es Cana's waters are shallow and calm so they’re great for little swimmers. There are all the facilities you need for a fun-packed beach day out too. You can even enjoy some shade under the pine trees that back the shore.

Get active on the island

If relaxing on the beach is not your bag or you like to keep up your exercise routine while you’re away, why not give one of these a go?

Hire a bike and explore the stunning island scenery on two wheels. You could keep it relatively easy and stick to the flat routes around the coastline or you could challenge yourself and head up into the hills on a mountain bike.

Cala Gracio

Prefer to keep two feet on the ground? Stretch your legs and enjoy a gentle jog along one of the many sea-facing promenades. Feel the sea breeze in your hair and enjoy all the amazing views you see along the way. If you really want to test your running ability, why not enter the renowned Ibiza Marathon which takes place annually in April? The popular route passes a whole host of island attractions, including Es Cana Beach and Dalt Vila, the Old Town.
