We know it can be tempting to throw in every swimming costume you own, ten pairs of flip flops and extra sunnies for good measure. Stacey’s top tip? Write a checklist! That way you can tick off essentials as you go and it will help prevent over-packing.

Twilight Check-in®

Stacey’s next idea to make the morning of travel a little easier? Twilight Check-in®! With this handy free service, you can drop your bags off at your UK departure airport between 16:30 and 21:00 the evening before your morning flight! Then, when you arrive at departures the next day, your luggage is already sorted. If you live near the airport or are staying at a hotel close by, it'll make your morning a little bit easier.

Resort Flight Check-in®

If you're staying in Cyprus, you can make the most of Resort Flight Check-in®. It’s our handy, free service that allows you to spend your last day without your bag. Why so fab? Once you've checked in online, it couldn't be a simpler process – just drop your bag off with our specialist Jet2holidays team at your hotel on the morning of your return flight. Then when you're at the airport, you can sail straight through to security.

The packing processes

Fed up of crinkled clothes? We all know someone who’s guilty of just throwing everything into their case and expecting it to come out perfectly pristine when they land! Make the process easier by using Stacey's suggestion – packing cubes. She also recommends rolling up your clothes to save space but be sure to choose outfits that don't crease. Snacks? Tick. Games? Tick. Sticker books? Tick. These are just some of Stacey's hand luggage staples, which will keep the kids entertained onboard. Don't forget to bring their favourite cuddly toy, as they'll even get their very own teddy bear passport. You'll get a 10kg luggage allowance as standard, plus infants under two also get an additional 10kg hold baggage allowance on top, which is added to the accompanying parent or adult’s baggage.
