At Jet2, we’re always giving you more, which is why we’re so excited about the launch of our Christmas market city breaks to Malmo for this winter. Sweden’s third-largest city has so much to offer, especially during the festive season. Tempted? We thought you might be! Check out our handy guide and get planning your next trip...

Flights
As part of your Jet2CityBreak to Malmo, you’ll fly into Copenhagen Airport – which is actually closer to Malmo than Malmo Airport itself! Two weekly services, on Monday and Friday, will operate from Leeds Bradford and Newcastle between 28 November and 19 December 2025.
Transfers
Transfers from the airport to your hotel are not included, but the local transport options are quick and easy to use. There are direct bus and train services which will take you over the Øresund Bridge. You could also hop in a taxi if you’d prefer. However you choose to get from A to B, we recommend pre-booking.

Hotels
We’ve scouted out a handful of the most-popular hotels, close to the best attractions and transport links, so you’re set in the heart of the action. Have a browse and see which suits!
Things to do
Malmo is at its prettiest when it's all dressed up in its festive finery. We’re talking wooden markets decked in lights, serving up all the traditional Swedish specialities. ‘Tis the season for feasting, so who’s for a saffron bun and a cup of steaming glögg (spiced mulled wine)? Beyond the markets, there are heaps of museums to roam around, galleries to check out and cultural landmarks to enjoy. You can read more about the must-dos here.

Day trips
As Copenhagen is just a stone’s throw away, it couldn’t be easier to tick off two European cities (and countries!) in one trip. Hop over to the Danish capital and spend your day browsing Scandi-style Christmas markets, getting your skates on at the ice rink and uncovering all the spectacular sights.
