Sand-seeker? Trend-follower? Festival-goer? Whatever your thing, holiday fashion’s super-important to get right. So don’t be kept up at night, mentally packing and thinking about what’s still to buy – get ready with us and prepare for divine wardrobe inspiration.
Classic beachwear
From sandals to sarongs, there are some key players in the beachy clothes game. And obviously, that includes your choice of swimwear and sunglasses too. Bucket or cap, we’d also always wear a hat to keep our heads shaded from the sun, so be sure to whizz one into your case.
Festival ‘fits
Tasselled or studded jackets with metal hardwear or diamanté detailing – this is our usual place to start. Like us, frame your outfits around your outer layers, then turn your attention to big boots or sturdy sandals or trainers. Oversized, colourful sunnies, cowboy hats, beads and other eye-catching jewellery? Get them in the bag. And it wouldn’t be a festival without a mix of patterns – maybe even clashing ones – as well as different textures and fabrics. Athleisure, band tees, kaftans... We should’ve planted enough seeds by now.
Under-the-radar-destination essentials
Whether it's basking in the mountain-studded rays in up-and-coming Montenegro, lounging by the water sipping Aperols in Lake Garda, or going Greek in Samos, summery looks prevail. Even market-browsing in Marrakech needs its own outfit. Of course, swimwear, flip-flops and hotel towels are needed, but floaty linens and shirts, flowing maxi skirts and dresses, and vest tops are daily musts. We mix things up in the evening with dressier versions, yet still keeping the layers loose. Statement earrings and cute heels don’t go amiss either – very chic.

City break garms (winter and summer)
If you’re hitting the city in winter, we can’t stress enough – woollens, woollens, woollens. Jumpers, cardigans, shackets – you'll want layers with you, as well as a thick, warm coat. And we never disregard the chunky-knit scarf – something that goes with your bottom half and shoes, obvs. A snug hat to suit the face shape and cosy gloves – maybe ones you can use your phone with – are also for the ‘yes’ pile.
Heading away in summer instead? Cities can get a bit muggy, so light, airy tops and trousers are our friends. Comfy sandals that don’t rub the feet while exploring make nice alternatives to trainers. Again, you can’t beat a cap and sunnies, and hair scrunchies are ideal for keeping hair off the back of your neck.
Plane comfies
Sweaters and baggy trousers are always giving “I’m catching a flight” – comfort is king, after all. But we’re also big believers in wide-leg jeans providing just the same ease of movement. Pair that with an easy-breezy jacket and whatever shoes that’ll help you hit the ground running – and explore the duty-free shops before you board! Packing one of your layers in your hand luggage is also smart, as it can sometimes get a little chilly in the cabin.
