Got a bunch of animal lovers in your family? They’ll love catching a glimpse of the native caretta-caretta turtles – AKA loggerhead turtles. They nest on Cirali Beach throughout the summer, so keep your eyes peeled, but be careful not to disturb them!

Explore the glittering Mediterranean on a boat tour and admire the country’s tranquil Turquoise Coast from a different angle. Some trips feature snorkelling and swim stops so you can take a dip in the refreshing water while others offer lunch or dinner at sunset.

History buffs, this one’s for you. The ancient seaport of Phaselis has it all; beaches, three sunken harbours and Roman ruins. Peel back the layers of history and uncover what life was like here thousands of years ago. Follow the main street to the remains of shops, houses, public baths and an ancient theatre.

Ride the Mount Olympos cable car

Keen to snap some iconic holiday pics? On this cable car ride up Tahtali Mountain, you can do just that. On the ten-minute journey to the top, you’ll have panoramic views of the Mediterranean, Olympos National Park and the snow-capped mountains. Don’t forget to bring an extra layer of clothing, it’s a lot cooler at 2,365 metres above sea level!
