Where to stay
Alinda
If you’re looking for an idyllic seaside location with a charming village vibe, Alinda could be just the ticket. It’s home to the longest beach on the island too, with a range of water sports, along with a handful of cafés and bars. Beyond the beach, you’ll find that seafood is a highlight on most menus, including grilled octopus, calamari and fish cooked to perfection with simple Mediterranean flavors like olive oil, lemon, and herbs – yum!
Krithoni
Krithoni is a dinky fishing village located between Agia Marina and Alinda with plenty of coastal beauty and charm. When you’re not enjoying a go-slow day down on the beach, why not visit the island’s capital, Agia Marina? It’s only a short walk away and is primed for drinking, dining and shopping.
Panteli
Panteli is a feast for the eyes – we’re talking a sun-blessed beachfront, Medieval castle and charming windmills! Its small, pebbly beach is perfect for sunbathing or a refreshing dip. It’s also lined with friendly tavernas, making it the go-to spot for fresh seafood and lively evening vibes while the colourful fishing boats bob gently in the bay.
