Here’s one of our favourites! Step back in time at Pompeii, the city frozen by the devastating eruption of Mount Vesuvius nearly 2,000 years ago. Explore its astonishingly well-preserved ruins before heading to Ercolano, once a luxury retreat for wealthy Romans, also buried in ash. Both sites offer a glimpse into ancient life, where villas and statues once stood. 

Vatican Museum & St. Peter's Basilica, Rome 

You’ll be totally in awe of the Vatican Museums as you tour around with a guide, and see everything from Pio Clementino Hall to the Sistine Chapel with Michelangelo’s frescoes. Afterwards, you'll get to go around St. Peter’s Basilica at your own pace, and check out masterpieces like La Pietà and Bernini’s Baldacchino. You’ll end in the iconic St. Peter’s Square. 

Cape Sounion, Athens Coast 

Who’s for escaping Athens on a relaxing coastal drive to Cape Sounion, passing seaside suburbs like Glyfada and Vouliagmeni as you go?
