Paris, PSG
Parc de Princes
We know you’re probably heading to Paris with a stacked itinerary – this city is bursting at the seams with knockout sights after all. But in between trips to the Louvre and the Eiffel Tower, set aside some time to take a trip to the Parc de Princes. The fabulous structure in the 16th arrondissement is worth the tour. Browse PSG’s impressive trophy cabinet and step foot in a dressing room that’s seen the likes of David Beckham, Kylian Mbappe and Neymar come and go.
Naples, Napoli
Diego Armando Maradona Stadium
Named after one of, if not the greatest to ever play the game, the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium is one of Naples’ most prized structures. This club has been putting on showstopping performances, in front of crowds of up to 54,726, for decades! With three Seria A titles, six Coppa Italia’s and some European accolades to boot, exploring this temple of football should be high on every fan’s list.

Porto, Porto FC
The Estádio do Dragão
Think a city break to Porto can’t be tied in with a tour of an iconic stadium? Think again. With a whopping 50,033 capacity, The Estádio do Dragão is the third-largest stadium in Portugal, fitting for a team that have won 30 league titles, crowning them the most successful club in Portuguese football history. After construction finished on the stadium in 2003, José Mourinho famously led Porto FC to European victory the following season, with the likes of Carlos Alberto and Deco helping bring the trophy back to Portugal. And thanks to the stadium's location, just a stone's throw away from the city’s main train station, you can explore this historic site with ease.
Rome, Roma/Lazio
Stadio Olimpico
Not many stadiums can say they’re the home of not one, but two fabulous football teams, but the Stadio Olimpico can sure say it is. Home to Rome and Italian giants, Lazio and Roma, this dazzling stadium, sitting on the banks of the River Timber, is a must-see on a Rome city break. And thanks to its proximity to the city centre, you don’t have to travel far to be standing in front of this 72,698-capacity masterpiece.
Milan (from Verona), AC/Inter Milan
San Siro
We’ve mentioned one double-team hosting stadium in Italy, now onto the other... Known for some of the most prolific nights in football history, from World Cup clashes to European finals, the San Siro in Milan may just be the pinnacle of football stadium greatness. With a pitch that’s been blessed by the likes of Maldini, Kaká and Cafu, and a Milan rivalry that never disappoints on derby day, you’ll want to tick this one off your to-do list.
