Prague, Czech Republic

Prague is undoubtedly one of the global beer capitals. In fact, the Czech Republic has the world's highest per capita beer consumption. An added bonus — it’s cheap as chips. Alongside the sprawling beer halls, you’ll spy lots of microbreweries serving up their craft creations. A local beer usually won’t set you back more than £2, though you might pay a bit more if you’re in the city centre. Pilsner Urquell, Gambrinus, Staropramen, Kozel... the list of brands to add to your must-sip list is seemingly endless. If you’re holidaying here in summer, make the most of the sunshine at one of the city’s beer gardens. Letna, Riegrovy Sady and Naplavka are three of the top spots.
