So, you’ve settled on Italy for your next ski or snowboarding trip but you’re wondering where’s best for post-piste activities... we’ve got you covered! Fly into Verona from Manchester with Jet2 and you’ll be in prime position for exploring the Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage site. And whether you’re looking to boogie with a bombardino or unwind in a spa, you’ll find it all here...

Selva Val Gardena
This is one of the buzziest resorts in the area, so gear up for a good time. You’ll find plenty of venues serving up all the local faves, like La Stua. Live music events are a regular on the agenda and there’s a DJ playing every day from 15:30. Another popular spot for a pint is Luislkeller, which has been a staple of Selva’s après scene since 1980. Wanting something a little low key? There’s an indoor ice rink where you can try your hand at skating or catch an ice hockey match.

Canazei
Part of the Val di Fassa area, Canazei’s got something for everyone. You can expect lots of Austrian-style bars with a welcoming atmosphere. Après ski Paradis is the perfect place to head to when the lifts close. The party starts here at 14:30 and carries on until around 20:00. Kaiserkeller should be next on your sipping spree, regularly hosting top DJs. If you’re after more R&R than R&B, make a beeline for the Dòlaondes leisure centre. There’s a wellness centre, as well as a five-lane indoor pool and a saltwater outdoor pool.

Ortisei
What this dinky resort lacks in size, in more than makes up for with its variety of places to wine and dine in. After a long day on the mountain, nothing beats unwinding with a glass of red at the Vinoteque, located at the top of the high street. And you’re sure to hear Siglu before you see it, an igloo bar which always attracts a crowd. Bit of a foodie? There are over 40 restaurants to choose from, including Michelin-starred Anna Stuben. But for hearty dishes and laidback vibes, pizzeria Mauriz Keller is the place to be. It even doubles up as a club later in the evening.

Cortina d’Ampezzo
Après in Cortina d’Ampezzo is more about catching up in cosy wine bars than dancing on tables. On a sunny day, head for Chalet Tofane which has a sprawling terrace where you can soak up the rays and enjoy the mountain views. Or why not join the locals for a beer at Bar Sport? There’s a climbing wall, cinema and ice-skating rink too. High-quality restaurants are part and parcel of a trip here. SanBrite showcases regional cuisine, while Tivoli’s known for its inventive dishes.
