When people say, “Turkey golf holidays”, trust us, it’s all eyes on the Antalya Area. This region is blessed with 14 courses, and they’re all housed in the all-singing, all-dancing resort of Belek. While it’s known for bronze beaches and bold-as-anything, lavish hotels, it couldn’t be greener for golfers. Let us show you around and paint a picture of what to expect…

The brilliance of Belek
Relaxation here is done on the soft sand by the sea or out by the inviting pool of a luxury hotel. But if you’re more of an explorer when you aren’t perfecting your putt, let amphitheatres, fortresses and Side Old Town inspire a sightseeing stint. You’ll also be blessed with oodles of gourmet restaurants for treating your taste buds, so it’s quite the all-rounder.
You’re after the lowdown on Belek’s golf courses though, aren’t you? We’ve picked out five of the most fabulous to introduce you to.

Montgomerie Maxx Royal Golf Club
A club with a stellar reputation and 104 hectares of pine forest? Turkey golf breaks are made at Maxx Royal Belek Golf Resort, where you’ll find a club that’s all too willing to cater to your every need with its championship holes and facilities. Thanks to seven outdoor pools, its own aqua park, ten restaurants and a private sandy beach with a pier, it’s a five-star haven that pulls out all the stops.
The golf course itself reserves bragging rights to 18 holes, spanning everything from a gentle par-5 start to deep bunkers dotted around. Prepare for birdie opportunities and big drives that even test how good your accuracy is across water. Varied? You bet.

Cullinan Links Golf Club
For an afternoon of sport with a view, enjoy this 36-hole course that runs alongside the beach. The hotel complex, Cullinan, is named after the largest diamond ever found, so you can bet it’s a certified gem. Dip into one of the ten outdoor pools post-golf, sink into a muscle-easing massage and make each mealtime an occasion with All Inclusive Plus.
The superiority of a stay here truly comes in the form of the golf club, though. It sets itself apart by offering not one but two 18-hole courses, beautifully dubbed Aspendos and Olympos, and boasts lakes, dunes, rivers and more, to mix the terrain up. Take to the driving range to be sure you’ve got your bunker shots finessed, then play on.

Cornelia Golf Club
Designed by golfing pro Nick Faldo, this 27-hole expanse is a testing course to tee off on. Relish the Mediterranean climate as you navigate rich greenery and forested areas, where each of the three sections are par 72. There’s even a golf academy if you’re looking to brush up on those skills.
Choosing here doesn’t just mean grand golfing opportunities. Cornelia Diamond Golf Resort and Spa unlocks beachfront bliss, where eight outdoor pools will refresh all ages. There’s a children’s club if you decide to take them, but otherwise, adults can revel in the excellent range of seven restaurants, ten bars and soothing spa treatments.

Carya Golf Club
This one might not have been open long, but it’s hugely popular. That could well be down to the draw of its twinned property, Regnum Carya. There, the twinkling Turkish waves will tempt you before a round or two, though the hotel’s almost endless list of pluses will truly leave you in awe. Seven outdoor pools, 18 restaurants and 13 bars cater for your every whim.
The heathland-style Carya Golf Club is a course not dissimilar to those you’d find in the UK – right down to the pops of purple heather bushes! Although it’s been designed to a high standard, it still beckons beginners to book their tee time. And as a real bonus, it’s floodlit at night.

Sueno Golf Club
Home to two striking courses that suit all levels of skill, this is where everyone can practise their swing in super surroundings. Picture yourself in a 400-hectare oasis, where pines and sand give Sueno its USPs. Water hazards, bunker-flanked fairways and mid-length pars? It’s got the lot.
After a day on the manicured greens, six outdoor pools and the beach just on your doorstep will help you feel calm. A bowling alley, contemporary rooms and suites and All Inclusive as the standard board at Sueno Hotel Deluxe Belek? Oh, absolutely.
All packaged up
Great news for avid golfers – we’ve just introduced golf packages! That means famous fairways right on the doorstep of your hotel, return transfers included for ease, the option to pre-book up to 22kg golf carriage, and ATOL protection for peace of mind. And the best part? You’ll have four rounds of golf included in a seven-night stay. Bliss.
Book a golf package holiday with rounds included!

You’ll get all the usual package perks, like your hotel, return flights, transfers and 22kg baggage, alongside three or four rounds of golf per person and travel to and from the course.
Golf tournaments throughout the year
Given its pedigree, you shouldn’t be shocked to hear that Belek has hosted the Turkish Open, among stacks of other renowned events. Each year brings with it a Clutch Super Series, alongside other tournaments. There’s even one scheduled to be hosted at Gloria from 15-22 April 2023, so it might be worth aligning your next Turkey golf holiday with those dates too.
